We understand that if you are interested in buying one of our homes then you will have some questions to ask. The best thing is for you to contact us to help you with any questions you may have. In any case, we have prepared a list of questions if you want to read them previously.

1. ABOUT MODULAR CONCEPT
   

   Is this home similar to traditional homes or is it a typical wooden home?

   MODUS-VIVENDI’s homes are similar to traditional homes. They comply with all current regulations. They are different in the way we make them. That being in a factory, as if we were talking about cars or planes, with the many advantages this brings.

   Is there any restriction for it being a modular home?

   No restrictions, because the only thing to take into account is that the modules can be transported by truck but this does not affect the architectural finish.  We can manufacture homes with three or more floors.

   What are the MODUS-VIVENDI's advantages?

   Our most important advantage is our home design and quality. Home design is elegant and functional. Quality is based on material choice and high level manufactures. Besides, you can personalize your home with extras and additional equipment. We can also design an exclusive home for you if you want.

   My land is a rural land or not an urban area. Can we build one of these homes on it?

   We would have to study your case previously; we would need to know the surface area of your land and the local regulations.

   Can I mortgage this home?

   Of course, these homes are like any traditional house.

   Do these homes obey the Technical Building Code?

   Of course, CTE is binding on all companies. We try to assure that our homes are more efficient than CTE requirements, by thoroughly studying every project that we make.

   Can I expand these homes in the future?

   Yes, like any other home, we will study your case and we will design a structure to support the future expansion.

   
   
2. ABOUT MODEL FEATURES
   

   Can I install heating by radiators or underfloor heating? And air conditioning?

   We will customize all heating and air conditioning systems depending on your needs. We can install any system on the market that suits the Spanish regulations CTE.

   I do not like any model, can you design a new one for me?

   Of course, just contact us and we will design an exclusive design for you.

   What is the thermal performance like in these homes? Will I be cold in winter or hot in summer?

   No, our thermal performance is even better than traditional houses. Our homes have an insulator designed for every place and every kind of weather which guarantees thermal isolation in every season.

   Is soundproofing good in these homes?

   Yes. As with the thermal performance described in the previous question. Besides, our homes comply with the Technical Building Code – Noise Protection.

   How long do these homes last?

   Our homes last the same time as a traditional house.

   Are these homes adapted for handicapped persons?

   Yes, we will adapt your home according to your special requirements and local regulations.

   
   
3. ABOUT CONSTRUCTION, TRANSPORTATION AND BUILDING
   

   How long does it take to manufacture and install the home?

   The period of construction and erection of an average house is usually 16 weeks from the signing of the contract and production order.

   Are there restrictions for moving these homes?

   Modules are transported by truck. They must be able to reach the place where you plan to install your home. If you live in the Canary or Balearic Islands we will ship the trucks to you.

   
   
4. GUARANTEES, DOCUMENTATION AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS
   

   What kind of guarantees are given?

   It will be given a one year guarantee for damages and manufacturing faults affecting architectural finishes. It will be given a three-year guarantee for damages or defects of construction elements or installations that impede non-compliance with the occupancy requirements according to the Spanish Law. It will be given a ten-year guarantee for damages or defects of structural elements which directly affect the mechanical resistance and stability.

   What kind of documentation do you give?

   30 days after we hand over your home, we will give you the Building Book which has the following documents: The Handover certificate must be signed by the Customer and Manufacturer. The finished home architecture project. A List of persons who have participated in the building process. Instructions for the home use and maintenance.

   How do I pay for the home?

   You can pay for your home like any traditional house. An advanced payment must be made when the contract is signed. Other payments must be made during the construction and installion process and finally, a final payment when we give you the keys to your home.
